Stephen Otter
Managing Director, Head of Private Market Royalties, Senior Member of Management

Stephen Otter joined Partners Group as Head of Private Markets Royalties in 2024. Prior to that Stephen built and ran the royalty strategy of PG3 AG (which is the family office of the Partners Group co-founders) since July 2021. Previously and from January 2014, Stephen worked at FlowStream Commodities, a KKR backed energy royalty & streaming company, where as Head of Business Development, he was responsible for originating and executing royalty & streaming transactions globally. Prior to his role at FlowStream, Stephen spent close to a decade in Investment Banking in London where he was focused on M&A and capital raising. Stephen graduated with first class honours in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Richard Cliff
Managing Director, Private Market Royalties, Senior Member of Management

Richard Cliff joined Partners Group as a Managing Director in the Private Markets Royalties team in 2024, based in London. Richard has over a decade of experience in royalties transactions, gained at FlowStream Commodities, a KKR backed energy royalty & streaming company, where as General Counsel, he was responsible for all legal and contractual aspects of royalty & streaming transactions globally, and then with PG3 AG (which is the family office of the Partners Group co-founders), where he worked on its royalties strategy. Prior to that, Richard spent 20 years in private practice in London, where he was focused on public and private M&A, capital raising and private equity, at firms such as Herbert Smith Freehills and Milbank. Richard holds a BA and MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford.

Client Solutions team

Joanna Asfour
Managing Director, Head of UK Client Solutions Business

Joanna Asfour is part of the Client Solutions business department, based in London. She has been with Partners Group since 2011 and has 18 years of industry experience. Her role is currently focused on working on private markets fund solutions for different client segments having set up many open ended and closed ended private markets products for the UK and US market. Joanna also spent 5 years in our Denver, Colorado office working with US clients and consultants. Joanna was part of the industry-led Productive Finance Working Group in the UK which aimed to develop practical solutions to the barriers to investing in long-term, less liquid assets. Prior to joining Partners Group, she worked at Citibank. She holds a master’s degree in international business and languages from Heriot-Watt University, UK.

Alexander Hodgkins
Client Solutions Europe, Member of Management

Alexander Hodgkins is part of the European Client Solutions business unit, based in London. He has been with Partners Group since 2020 and has 7 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at a UK Wealth Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nottingham, UK. He also holds a master's degree from Loughborough University, UK.

Henriette Topel
Client Solutions Europe

Henriette Topel is part of the Client Solutions Europe business unit, based in London. Prior to joining Partners Group in 2022, Henriette worked at PineBridge Investments and holds a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.

Alex de Stefano
Head of UK & Eire Wealth, Client Solutions

As a member of the Client Solutions team at Partners Group in London, Alex is responsible for developing relationships with banks, wealth managers and financial intermediaries in the UK and Ireland. Alex has over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, Alex had roles at Nuveen, SEI Investments, Wellington Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Alex holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Bristol and a master's degree from Imperial College, London.
